- Hey there, I am Charles the chicken leg! Before you eat me, can I show you what my benefits for you are if you do decide to eat me?
- Talking chicken!? Well this isn't the weirdest thing to happen to me but oh well. But yeah I'm interested. Can you show me what you do?
- Very well! To start off, I contain the organic molecule known as Protein, protein contains the monomers known as Amino Acids.
- Interesting...But what exactly do these amino acids do??
- I'll be more than happy to show you but first let's start by you eating me.
- Alright Charles, but when you put it that way it sounds a little weird haha.
- So remember those amino acids I mentioned? Here is where they get absorbed. They help break down food and transport nutrients.
- Great! After eating me and passing through the stomach, we get to the small intestine where the fun begins!
- Along with helping transport nutrients and break down food, amino acids help build muscle so you can get big and strong like this!
- Wow!! I want to build muscle so I'll be eating more protein from now on!
- One more cool things amino acids do is strengthen and boost your immune system so you can be stronger! You'll feel like a knight in armor!
