The objectives of the lesson are: • Learners should explain the different types of pollution. • Learners should discuss how people and industries pollute water, land, air, and noise. • Learners should identify the things that can pollute the land, water, air, and noise.

Storyboard Text

  • Learners, I want you all to close your eyes and think about how the world would be like without clean water, clean environment, clean air and so much noise. After 3 minutes, you will have to sit on your chairs and draw what you have imagined.
  • PRINCIPLE 1
  • Why do people make the land dirty? Now i want you to work with the person sitting next to you and write 6 things that makes the school environment dirty.

  • Where have you seen the land, air, water and noise being polluted?
  • What do you think you should do if you see someone littering at school.
  • Based on the videos, what is air pollution?What do you think will happen to someone who breathes dirty air?Now , on your whiteboards, I want you all to write down things that can pollute the air according to the video.

  • Now, i want you all to work in groups and design a poster on one of the four types of pollution. Explain the type of pollution, draw the pollutants and explain the effects.
