One of the regions named the Mountains and Basins is known for having extremely hot summers and small cold winters which makes the land dry and broken down. Another region located in the west named the Great plains has cold winters and warm summers, a more subtle kind of weather. A region similar to the name of The Great Plains is the Coastal Plains that has hot summers while in the winter it often freezes, which is a noticeable difference in this region. The final region is the Central Plains this region is much like the summers and winters that the Coastal Plains have but with more humidity.
