- 1830: President signs the Indian Removal Act
- But we were here first!
- 1876: Indigenous people cannot vote
- We rule that all of these people can vote.
- MY PEOPLE WERE HERE BEFORE ALL OF YOU! HOW IS THAT FAIR?!
- 1887: Assimilation=Right to vote
- Why would I betray them for people who have never accepted me and have taken my home
- You can vote if you you betray your culture and family
