- Gods save us from ourruler!
- The people in the cityin Uruk, were being treated horrible by their ruler.So they cried out to thegods for help
- Gilgamesh traveled places to find a man named Utnapishtim. He survived a great flood. Instead he finds a tavern keeper, she tells him that seeking immortality is useless and be happy for what he has. She then tells him he can locate a ferryman to take him to Utnapishtim.
- I'm impressed, you'remy friend now.
- The gods sent someone namedEnkidu to help the city. Gilgamesh and Enkidu fought, and Gilgamesh became impressed and they became friends.
- Okay.
- They went on an adventure and fought a demon named Humbaba. They win, and cut down trees and make it into a raft.
- Enkidu then dies, because him and Gilgamesh defeated the Bull of Heaven. And the gods decided he needed to bepunished. Gilgamesh became heartbroken.
- The only reason the Bull of Heaven got sent down, was because Gilgamesh angered Ishtar. Who is the goddess of love, and war. She fell in love with him, but he rejected her and treated her badly.
- He meets him, and Tim tells him to build a giant boat to put his family, and two of everything. Because the gods are destroying humankind for their sins. Gilgamesh asks how to get immortality, and Tim gives him a test. But Gilgamesh fails it immediately. Tim then tells him about a plant to help him, but it is at the bottom of the sea.
- Gilgamesh returns back to Uruk with no plant. A snake had stolen it from him. He realized that a person cannot live forever, and became grateful for what he has. And that he will be remembered for what he has done.
