Storyboard Text

  • Baby is smiling because he hears mothers voice and sees a happy face. After a few weeks a baby can start to hear familiar sounds. Parents are bonding with him so he can feel safe and secured. Attachment can help build that trust.
  • You are so cute! I love you so much
  • Baby learns how to rattle the toy for entertainment. He is aware of the noise that surrounds him.Parents allows play time during the day. This allows him to figure out what the items do on his own by reaching and grasping.
  • Goo-Goo-Ga-Ga
  • Baby is learning how to make noises at the sounds they hear. They also start to smile and laugh. Parents are continuing to talk and give most of their attention to their baby.
  • Dad is teaching son basic sign language and baby is mimicking. With more practice baby will learn how to do it on his own.
  • Baby will start using gestures and emotions to get caregivers attention. He is putting his hand near his mouth to show that he is hungry or teething. Mom will make sure to comfort baby and to help him feel better.

  • He is reacting to what others are saying around him. Babies can learn how to wave back if they are taught by their caregiver. Showing what actions or gestures at home can help a baby know what to do when greetings happen in public.

  • Baby becomes more comfortable with what he wants. He shows mom that he does not want food by shaking his head instead of crying. Mom will not force food and acknowledge his needs.
