  • Climate Change
  • What is Climate Change?
  • How and Why is it Occuring?
  • Hi! I'm Earthy and I'll be talking about climate change in our RainforestsBut before we get started, let's talk about what climate change is.
  • Impact on the Environment
  • Climate Change is long-term shifts in temperature and weather. These changes may be natural, but human activities are the main reasons for climate change.
  • Future Impact
  • Factories produce greenhouse gas which float into the atmosphere. The greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere are changing, making the temperature hotter than regular.
  • How can we slow climate change?
  • Climate change is causing global warming when there’s a rapid increase in the planet’s temperature. And air and water pollution, where greenhouse gasses are infecting the air and water. These temperature changes can increase the intensity of storms and raise the number of heatwaves we receive.
  • Over time, climate change and more deforestation will likely lead to increased temperatures and losing their ability to generate its own rainfall, which will affect the region’s forests, water availability, biodiversity, agriculture, human health, and food shortages. Food shortages can lead to endangered species.
  • We can help slow climate change by limiting the amount of food we throw away and by taking public transportation more often to limit the amount of greenhouse gas in the air. And stopping coal, oil, and natural gas emissions would help restore balance in the rainforests.
