- You are underarrest!
- Why did you study in England?
- Parvana's father is telling Ali, Maryam, Parvana, Nooria, and Mother all of his interesting stories while they sat and listened to him.
- I demand you release my husband
- PRISON
- Where is my father!
- Whilst Father was explaining his stories, the Taliban broke into their home and then arrested Father after finding out that he received his education in England.
- Parvana and Mother were determined to go and find Father and ask the guards to release him, they went walking all the way to the prison and left Nooria at home to look after Ali and Maryam.
- The guards refused and were not willing to give them any information about Parvana's father, they got really violent and ended up harming both Parvana and Mother.
- Parvana and Mother were extremely exhausted after their visit to the prison, they were in severe pain and could barely manage to walk properly.
- Nooria and Maryam were shocked and upset when they saw the state of Parvana and Mother after they had arrived back home, especially at the state of their feet since it was all bloody and blistered.
