In January, 1850, in Boston, Dr. Bigelow presents a lecture to convince an audience of doctors that Phineas' case is not fake or exaggerated.
1848, Boston, Phineas survived by just pure luck when he got a fever and fell into bad health. All Dr. Harlow did was keep the wound clean and watch for immflamation, not knowing Phineas was suffering from an infection.
