Storyboard Text

  • "Saints do not move, though grants for prayers sake!"
  • Then move not while my prayers effect I take. Thus from my lips, by thine my sin is purged.""
  • Act 2
  • "I am aweary, give me leave awhile. Fie, how my bones ache!"
  • I would thou hadst my bones, and I thy news. Nay, come, I pray thee speak. Good, good nurse, speak." "
  • Act 3
  • "How well my comfort is revived by this."
  • "Here, sir, a ring she bid me give you, sir. Hie you, make haste, for it grows very late."
  • Romeo and Juliet first meet at the ball and don't know of each other. They don't know the conflict between both opposing families and they later rebel and share a kiss.
  • Act 4
  • "Give me, give me! O, tell me of fear!"
  • "A cold drowsy humor, for no pulse Shall keep his native progress, but surcease No warmth, no breath, shall testify thou livest."
  • After a whole half an hour of Juliet anxiously waiting, Nurse returns with big news if Romeo wants to marry Juliet or not. The Nurse holds off saying the big news and Juliet becomes anxious and annoyed. She soon gets the news out of her that Romeo wants to marry her.
  • Act 5
  • "Put this in any liquid thing you will And drink it off, and you had the strength of twenty men."
  • After the horrible news that Romeo has killed Tybalt, Romeo thinks Juliet will never forgive him. Although she is sad at the start, Juliet forgives him and still wants to marry him. She sends Nurse to give him a ring showing how she still is in love with him and forgives him.
  • Act 5
  • Friar gives Juliet a potion to make her seem dead but really will only keep her asleep for 48 hours but Juliet is suspicious about it. She doesn't fully trust Friar and believes he could have poisoned her to get rid of the whole problem. She eventually says yes and they work out a plan so her and Romeo can see each other again.
  • After hearing the news that Juliet is dead Romeo is in desperate need for poison. He doesn't want to leave without Juliet and is willing to commit suicide so he can be with her again. He begs the Friar who is in poverty with gold and buys his way to obtain the poison.
  • "I pay thy poverty but not thy will."
  • Tybalt Capulet
  • After Romeo takes the potion and commits suicide, Juliet wakes up and finds him dead. When Juliet sees this she takes his dagger and stabs herself in the chest. She cant live without him either and so she resorts to suicide.
  • "Yea noise? Then I'll be brief. O happy dagger!
  • "This is thy sheath; There, where the torch doth burn."
