  • Good day too!
  • Good day Miss!
  • Uhm! Yes I think it's quite easy!
  • Do you have an idea how to answer Mrs Paj assignment in Science?
  • You know all you need is to find an appropriate diagram and a script.
  • ohh my! That's awesome!
  • Hi! I am Ms Apple! I will take you to a journey through the digestive system. When I enter the mouth, salivary glands start secreting saliva. As you chew, saliva mixes with me to form a soft lump of food called bolus.
  • The bolus then moves down a long tube called oesophagus. The peristaltic movement of the oesophagus then squeezes food bolus to my next destination called Stomach.
  • inside the stomach the food is broken into a [liquid called chyme which mixes with gastric juice.
  • From there I enter the small intestine. The liver send bile juice to the gall bladder which holds it until I arrive. Tiny finger like projections called villi absorb my molecules. Useful nutrients are taken by blood to all parts of the body. The leftover fiber and water enter  to the large intestine
  • The waste then passes out the body through an opening called anus. And this long journey through the digestive system finally end.
  • all leftover waste is compacted and stored at the end of the large intestine called the rectum. Water and other fluids are extracted here from the feces.
  • That's it! Thank you very much ! I learned a lot from you! So long Ms.
