  • In his story "Harrison Bergeron", Kurt Vonnegut uses satire to describe our society as people wanting everything to be equal and fair.  He establishes this by limiting peoples thoughts and  also hiding beauty so there are no standards and comparison. Harrison represents the exaggerated man in power as his size and controlling manner is much greater than everyone else.
