- Cuban Missile Crisis
- The war started in Europe when the central powers broke out into a war. America tried to stay out of it but then Germany started sinking American ships. The war ended when the Allies and Germany signed a peace treaty named the treaty of Versailles.
- Vietnam War
- Adolf Hitler blamed Germany's trouble on the Treaty Of Versailles, the Democratic government, and Jewish people. Hitler started invading neighboring countries starting with Poland. Hitler allied with the Soviet Union and together they started invading different countries. Later on Germany, Italy, and Japan had became allies and together they were the Axis Powers. Five months later Japan launched a nuclear weaponry in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii bringing the United States into the War. the U.S. fought back and in the end Germany, Japan, and Italy surrendered.
- Iran Hostage Crisis
- The Soviet Union sent nuclear warheads to Cuba. These missiles were placed to be aimed and fired at the U.S. When American spy planes discovered the missiles, President Kennedy established a naval blockade.The Society Leader promised to remove the missile and Kennedy promised to not invade Cuba.
- The Attacks of September 11
- North Vietnam had a communist government and wanted to expand communism and reunite South and North Vietnam. South Vietnam acted in rebellion and the U.S. was against the expansion of communism. The U.S. helped South Vietnam. It ended in !973 when the U.S. signed a treaty.
- Iranian government seized the staff of the U.S. Embassy. The U.S. Embassy staff was held hostage for more than a year
- Commercial Airplanes flew into the New York World Trade Center and the Pentagon in Washington DC. Al-Qaeda, a terrorist group, was responsible
