Storyboard Text
First things first rocks start off as hot magma that has not yet cooled.
Today I will explain to you, how the rock cycle happens.
And from this volcano magma or lava comes out of the volcanos, and when that magma dries we have rocks.
And sometimes, when hot magma oozes onto other rocks, and it squishes the rocks underneath
When the magma and the rock are done blending, they end up making new rocks!
And after all that blending, the rocks can get broken down into sand by weather or wind.
And when that weather (water) goes through the sand, and it mixes around, it makes a new rock!
The first rock, is the Igneous rock. The Igneous rock is made from cooled off magma, or molten rock.
And with all the rocks that went through the rock cycle, they also have names!
And last but not least, we have Metamorphic rocks. These rocks come from heat and pressure, like the hot magma that oozed onto the other rocks.
The second type of rocks we have, is Sedimentary rocks. These rocks are rocks mixed with mud, water and weather.
