- There is a variety of genes among the lion species.
- *Alert mode, sees the lion with dark fur in front but is not aware of the threat behind*
- *My prey saw me, chances are I won't be able to eat today, I keep getting seen.*
- Lions with lighter fur can capture their preys easier than those with darker fur since they are not spotted.
- *Food doesn't see me. Being camouflaged helps a lot, I'm on the clear and ready to attack.*
- *More food, equals more chances of survival, as long as the sand stays the same, I won't need to worry much about being seen.*
- *As expected, my prey saw me and was able to escape me, but not the other lion since he was hidden, now I am left starving.*
- Time progresses and the situation is pretty much the same, this causes the lions with dark fur population to drop.
- This shows how for the lions, being light colored will be the fittest genes to survive in this environment.
- Unless... the ground changes and becomes darker, in that case, things will probably be the complete opposite. (dark fur will be better to survive)
