- Scenario: When browsing the app community, Daniel finds that a citizen scientist is recruiting nature enthusiasts to participate in a program and help taxonomists find unknown biodiversity species in South East Queensland. Daniel enjoys nature environment and is keen to look for unknown things. Then he decides to join the program to help the expert.
- Maybe I' ll upload the information to community, just to make sure.
- Upload
- Scenario: Daniel comes to one of the national parks in Queensland and finds a plant that might be a new species, he scans the plant through the App.
- Ohh, got replied, this is pre-discovered????I still don't believe it.
- This plant has been identified
- Scenario: After scanning the plant, Daniel is still not sure about the species, because the searching results on the app does not look exactly the same as this plant.
- Got so many responses, oh, fine, this is indeed a plant that being discovered.
- Scenario: To determine whether the plant is unknown, Daniel decides to takes a couple of photos of the plant and writes a small paragraph of description according to the app's prompts and then uploads information to the community to discuss with other citizen scientists and enthusiasts.
- Scenario: After waiting for a few hours, he gets a response from one of the other users saying this plant has already been pre-discovered. But only one response still cannot convince Daniel.
- Scenario: Daniel starts to get more and more responses, most of them are confirming this plant has already been pre-discovered, and its name is XXX. The plant does not get a chance to be upvoted to experts.
