- Teacher, what's Mitosis?
- We are going to be learning about Mitosis
- Mitosis is when a single cell divides into two identical daughter diploid cells. Mitosis has a huge role in our bodies, it is for growth and and replacing worn out cells.
- Well i'm still kinda confused, what are the other stages.
- Interphase is where cells spend most of their lives. There are 4 stages of mitosis. The first stage is prophase.

- Well prophase is the first stage of cell division. It is before the chromosomes become visible as paired chromatids and the nuclear envelope disappears.
