- One seemingly normal night during dinner, andrei sneezes suddenly without covering his mouth! Through indirect contact, some of the pathogens floating in the air from the sneeze make their way into Johns nose! A pathogen is a micro-organism that can cause a disease. This is bad. It will turn into a full on boxing match war as the body attempts to fight off pathogens!

- There are multiple battles everywhere! Pathogens will first try to make their way through the nose but the mucus is in their way. The mucus is the First Line Of Defence. Mucus tries to use its special move: The Slimey Stick, but the Pathogen dodges. The pathogens use their quick footwork to evade the mucus and bypass it. Down the throat it goes.

- The innate immune response kicks in (the second line of defense)! Phagocytes now tag in! Phagocytes are white blood cells that swallow pathogens. In all of the Pathogen vs Phagocyte battles, lots of cells are lost in the cruel boxing war. the phagocytes try their special move: Swallow Whole, but to no luck. The body attempts to rise in temperature to make the pathogens to fell uncomfortable and die at high temperatures, still no luck. The pathogen then comes through with some of its own moves, the pathogens have successfully gotten past the second line of defense.

- The pathogens mosey on over, the body has now gone into acquired immune response (third line of defense), the body has studied the pathogens for a while and has found the perfect strategy to defeat them!
- and find an antibody to defeat them. Antigens are molecules found on pathogens which are either recognized, or not recognized by the body. Antibodies are Y shaped particles created by plasma B cells to destroy pathogens and antigens. Helper T cells are cells that activate plasma B cells to start producing anti-bodies. With all of this, the pathogens just simply can't keep up and the cells they have infected start to get killed
- Killer T cells are cells that attack antigens directly and don't need any support, the just kill them by themselves. It's a good fight being put up by the killer T cell and with anti-bodies taking care of other pathogens there are just to many fail-safes for the pathogens to bypass. The body is now recovering and there are not many pathogens remaining. It was a long and hard war, but it looks like its coming to an end! andrei started to feel more better because the antigen started winning in the fight,
- All the pathogens are dead and this war is over. To prevent from the same pathogens from ever infecting our bodies again, Memory B cells are stored, Memory B cells are cells that store antibodies from an attack so the same one can be stopped easily. Doing this is called getting Immunity, immunity is when your body remembers which antibodies should be used to attack a certain pathogen that has attacked before. John is now completely recovered and can go back to school. This is the end of the pathogens and sickness for John, his body feels more better now because the antigen win in the fight, it is important for us to make our body strong in order to make our body immune to other health issues
