The lead female worker walks in, wearing what could be a dress code violation. The shirt being red is too flamboyant for an office setting and though she’s wearing a skirt, the tight fit is a violation.
The boss discusses how she shouldn’t be wearing something so “scandalous” and how she should adhere to the dress code. A bystanding coworker overhears the conversation yet does not say anything.
After a while, the boss hands out paychecks to their employees.
The lead female talks to her friend (male employee) about the incident that took place this morning. When they look at their payments, they realized the female employee got less income than the male. Even though they work in the same position. The male employee advises his friend to bring up this indifference to the boss.
The lead female discusses the double standard between gender taking place in their office to her boss. She discusses a number of issues that need to change due to the injustice between males and females.
The boss makes it seem like he is helping the lead female with her concerns, but in reality, is giving non-promising solutions. He gives poor excuses to hide the injustice occurring.
