- Listen kid, today has been a rough day, why don't you take some time where you aren't around anything harmful...or really anything at all. I want you to go on the scissor jack lift and change the light bulbs.
- I'm really sorry about today sir. And I would love to help out with the light bulbs it's just I don't know how to use that equipment safely....
- I don't care, you will get up there, and you will change that light bulb if you want to keep your job.
- You know what? No. I'm not going up there not until I get the proper training and know it's safe. I have the right to refuse work and not get fired for it, if I see the job unsafe and I do. Because you haven't taught me how to use that equipment.
