- The King, Queen, a priest, and princess Psyche all leave the castle covered in black after news from an oracle that she must be left on a mountaintop to be sacrificed to a monster

- Psyche is left on a rock and left to be devoured by the monster and as she waits she falls asleep
- Cupid & Psyche Scene 5
- When Psyche wakes up she's in a palace of gold and hears a voice telling her to marry him and that she can stay there as long as she lives, but warns her of her sisters and how they may become jealous.
- Cupid & Psyche Scene 6
- Psyche convinces the voice to let her sisters come over and shows them the treasure room and then the sisters tell her that her husband is actually an evil snake that they've seen themselves and tell her to find out for herself when he is asleep
- Psyche finds out that her husband is the Greek god cupid and he fly's away leaving her away from the palace
- After Psyches run in with Aphrodite, giving her never ending tasks Cupid returns to her and brings her to Mt. Olympus to ask the gods for forgiveness. They forgive her and grant her immortality where she would live with the gods forever.
