Storyboard Text
- We meet a half-white, half-Indian 17 year old Sonny Bear who does smoker fights and faces a lot of racism. He fights Hoffer and wins but is cheated out o a paycheck.
- We find out that his mom left him to go to NYC. He ends up leaving Jake to try to find his mom and tries enlisting into the army, but isn't old enough.
- He arrives in NYC, and He meets Stick, Doll, and Brooks.
- Sonny is taken to their hideout, where he's sent to make a drug deal for stick, and said to make profit from it.
- Sonny gets arrested and is met by a racist cop, who he punches after he doesn't get his haircut.He soon gets out and starts boxing again.
- Sonny gets Jessie pregnant and he tries finding a job.#160;#160;Sonny needs the money to help support his unborn child. Every time Sonny wins he gets $1,000 and if he makes it to the last match and wins he would get $25,000.#160; He ends up winning.
