  • Slaves Are Auctioned Off
  • The slaves were given in humane living conditions on the boat which would last to the minimum of six to eight weeks. Disease arose from these poor situations which was one of many contributing factors for the cause of so many slaves death during the transportation.
  • Raw Materials Are Exported

  • The slaves were then brought to an auction where they would be sold to plantation owners or anyone desiring for assistance. The strong and healthy were targeted as they would be the most useful and helpful to getting work done.
  • Finally raw materials such as silk, sugar cane, raw cotton, rum, whale oil, and tobacco plant are shipped to Europe to make finished goods. The cycle would restart and continue on.
