- In scene 2 Juliet confesses#160;her love for Romeo. She doesn't know Romeo is below her balcony, when he hears her, he responds and confesses his love for her too. Eventually after talking in secret, they decided to get married in secret.
- Scene 5 (Nurse and Juliet)
- In scene 3 Romeo goes to Friar Lawrence and tells him about how he has forgotten Rosaline and is now in love with Juliet. Friar Lawrence is surprised and asks Romeo if it is too soon to forget about Rosaline. Friar Lawrence says he can still sense sadness about Rosaline in Romeo. But, Romeo insists Juliet is the one for him. Romeo wants to quickly plan a wedding for them but Friar Lawrence tells him that they should plan the wedding slowly and wisely.#160;
- In this scene Mercutio and Benvolio are trying to find Romeo. Eventually Romeo finds them. A bit later in the scene Juliet's nurse comes to find Romeo. Romeo and the Nurse privately talk about the wedding arrangements and decide that Juliet will try to find a way out of her house and come to confession in the abbey that afternoon. Friar Lawrence would be waiting for them there.
- In this scene Juliet is excited and wants to know what Romeo said to the Nurse. The Nurse procrastinates and keeps telling Juliet that she's tired and she'll tell her what Romeo said after. Eventually the Nurse tells Juliet that Romeo wanted to get married that day and that she would have to meet him at Friar Lawrence's cell.
