Rainsford is on a Jaguar hunt on a boat, then he drops his cigar in the water. He reaches for it but falls in the water and the boat he was on sped away. Rainsford finds him self on an island and heard gun shots and falls asleep. Rainsford wakes up and goes out to find help from the gun shots. he finds a big scary looking mansion and and big tall man confronts him. there general Zaroff comes out and recognizes Rainsford and invites him in

General Zeroff tells Rainsford about his passion in hunting and how he hunts humans now. the next day Rainsford said he wanted to leave but Zaroff got mad and said if he wanted to leave he would have to play his hunting game and if he wins he leaves but if he looses then Zaroff kills him. but if he dosent want to hunt then he c an go with Ivan the giant. Rainsford end up choosing the hunt.

Rainsford hides in the woods and tries the fox trail to trow of Zaroff but Zaroff maneges to find Rains ford but decides to not kill him. the next day Rainsford tries making 2 trap but dosen't get rains ford. the next day Zaroff gets his pack and Ivan to hunt after Rainsford. Rainsford makes one little trap with his knife but it kills Ivan instead.

Rainsford finds himself on a cliff but with Rainsford behind him he Jumps. Zaroff sees that Rainsford jumped so Zarroff assumed that Rainsford died and that he won another round of his game.

Zaroff goes home and eats but is a bit disappointed cause he didn't get to kill Ransford himself. Rainsford gets ready to go to bed he sees the outline of a man and gets scared when he sees Rainsford and congratulates him but Rainsford is not happy.

Zaroff says that one of them will become a meal for the dogs and one will sleep in this nice bed, Rainsford says on guard. it was the best bed he has ever slept in
