Storyboard Text

  • We should take some food with us
  • Cyclops try some wine.Here's some to wash down your scraps of men.
  • Odysseus and his crew spend many days observing the land of the Cyclopses from distant island.During this time,Odysseus decides that him and his crew must travel to Sicily in order to learn if the Cyclopses are friends or foe.
  • Upon on the arrival,Odysseus's crew suggests that they should simply take Cyclopses food and leave but Odysseus wishes to stay and study the Cyclops some more.
  • When Cyclop returns to find Odysseus and his crew, he eats two of the men.
  • Odyssues begins his plan of escape.He starts by getting Cyclops drunk,so that he can later blind Cyclops with a stab to the eye.
  • Odysseus and his men escape by clinging to the underbellies of the sheep as the Cyclops lets them out.Bceause the Cyclops is blind,he feel for the men but only touches the sheep.
  • While Odysseus is departing,the Cyclops prays to Poseidon.He asks the god to never let Odysseus return home and a earthquake happens so he can die.
