When Lyddie goes to her house she sees someone in her house. on (page 39) it says ¨black or white, compared to a bear? besides, she broke into cold sweat this man was likely to be worth one hundred dollars.¨ Lyddie first thought that was the man and should turn him in to pay off the debts on her family farm.
when she comes back from visiting her house. On (page 44) it says ¨¨SO! you´ve decided to honor us with a visit¨ the mistress´s was red with heat orange behind her Triphena grimaced an apology.¨ It shows person vs person because when Lyddie got back from her house the mistress was mad she went out without her order.
It is when the coach gets stuck in the mud and they don't know what to do. On (page 49) it says ¨She found a flat stone and put it under the mired wheel. Then she waded in, her narrow shoulders shoving two of the gaping men aside as she set her own strong right shoulders against the rear wheel.¨ it shows person vs nature because Lyddie was trying to get the coach out of the mud because they didn't know what to do so she took thing in her own hands.
