- Mila, a newly graduated girl, walks with her classmates wearing an old pair of shoes. One of her classmates notices and asks her about it.JENNY: Hey Mila, congrats sayo! Sa wakas graduate na tayo!MILA: (smiling) Salamat, Jenny! Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na makapagtapos naJENNY: (noticing Mila's shoes) Pero teka, bakit suot mo pa din yang sapatos na yan? Eh, napakaluma na nyan ah!Mila pauses for a moment, reflecting on her past experiences.MILA: Kasi... (emotionally)Mila slowly looks at her shoes.FLASHBACK TRANSITION TO:
- INT. INSIDE OF MILA'S HOUSE-MORNING
- Mila’s father slowly walks towards her in bed while holding a pair of shoes as a gift for her.MILA'S FATHER: Mila, anak gising na.MILA: Hmmm...Bakit po, Pa? (Slowly rubbing her eyes)MILA'S FATHER: May ibibigay ako sayo, malapit na rin ang kaarawan mo at alam kong magagamit mo ito ngayong darating na pasukan.MILA: (surprised) Pa, sa makalawa pa po ang kaarawan ko. Pero maraming salamat po sa maagang regalo. She emotionally hugged her father as she receives the present.FADE OUT:

- Mila walked towards their house, eager to greet her parents after a long day at school. As she approached their doorstep, she noticed a flock of people gathered outside, whispering amongst themselves.ALING NORA (NEIGHBOR): (worriedly approached Mila) Mila, huwag kang mabibigla.MILA: (confused) Po? Anong pong nangyari? Nasaan sina Papa at Mama? ALING NORA: Wala na ang Papa mo, Mila. Naaksidente sya habang pauwi galing sa trabaho.MILA: (shocked) Si--i Pa--pa po? PAaa-t-aay naaa! (greviously cried)Mila's legs buckled under her, and she slowly collapsed onto the couch while tears streaming down her face. The news was too much to bear. Aling Nora held her tightly, offering comfort and solace in the midst of the tragedy.FADE OUT:
