- Introduction to Mohenjo Daro
- Hello and welcome to Mohenjo Daro. We were one of the earliest civilizations to ever exist. We were placed on the Indus river in modern day Pakistan and northern India.
- Homes
- Our homes were made of mud and clay mixed together. once we have them in the mold we place them in a kiln until hard making them strong enough to withstand harsh conditions.
- we also loved going on our roof because it was nice and cool up there.
- Toilets, shower Rooms, and sanitations
- In Mohenjo Daro every body had there own shower and sewage system that led out into the street.
- We were one of the cleanest cities of our time.
- Great bath and Religious products
- A couple times a year a group of people gathered together in the great bath. we believed that doing this would make up pure, sort of like moderne day baptism.
- use of seals
- We used seals to sow ownership to some thing like food from trade, this makes it mush easier to find what belongs to who. On these seals we put an animal that symbolized our family.
- archeologists have found over 5,000 different seals.
- Distance trade and trade products.
- In Mohenjo Daro we traded with several cities in the area like Mesopotamia. we both traveled by water carrying out goods and sharing them with each other so that we could have other resources that we didn't otherwise have.
