Layers of the Earth's atmosphere

- Mr. Poof, I've always wondered how we've never been smashed by a million rocks from outer space .
- Well we have 5 layers of the Earth which prevent this from happening, i can tell you a couple before break is over.
- Ooo this seems interesting, i want to know too.
- wow! That's new to me.
- The first layer is the troposphere, which is the first and most condensed layer of the atmosphere. Also this is where most of the air is at.
- which means most of our weather is basically trapped inside this layer
- ohhh, so that's why our atmosphere never incinerated.
- Now, there's another layer which protects us from injurious sun beams and that zone is called The Ozone which is in the second surface the Strastosphere.
- That's so cool!
- Really? all this time i thought it was Antarctica was the coldest place on this planet.
- Now you might not actually know this but, the coldest part of earth is the mesosphere, which is the third layer.
- This is getting me determined more and more as we talk about every layer.
- That's so fascinating.
- This one might be the most interesting so far. This coating of the earth is a part of our atmosphere but it is mostly thought of outer space.
- Sooo we're basically in a bubble and trapped with a part of outer space.
- cool, i like helium because it makes my voice change. too bad we ran out of time to continue this discussion.
- Yes you could say that. This layer is composed of hydrogen and particles of helium and it's the highest layer of the earth's atmosphere.
