- St Paul's Birth name was Saul, but he preferred to be called by his Latin name paul. He was born in Taurus around the time 5 BCE . He attended the school of Gamaliel Where he studied religious scriptures and Greek philosophy. When he was older he worked as a tentmaker in Jerusalem.
- Saint Paul was a Jew and hated Christians and persecuted them. He discriminated against Christains, treating them unfairly due to there beleifs. St Paul would even take Christians from their homes and put them in jail, and a lot of the time he would hurt and beat them, using a whip or bat.

- On his way to Damascus, saint paul fell over and saw a vision and a voice of Jesus. Jesus said, "why do you persecute Christians.?" He lost his vision and this left saint paul to think about all the horrible things he had done to Christians,. He then left for Macedonia to spread the word of the gospel.

- His encounter with his vision of Jesus changed his life and saint paul became baptized and became a Christian, to fulfil the word of god and to show Jesus that he cared about him and was willing to spread the word of the holy spirt.
- Saint Paul had listened to the words of Jesus, and over the next thirty years, he did his best to spread the word of Christianity. He did the most to create Christian communities and he taught people about Jesus's teachings and lessons and he travelled to many other countries
- in 64 CE, Saint paul died a tragic death. He died in Rome and was decapitated as the Romans did not like Christians, especially people like paul who was spreading Christianity
