- Gandalf shows up and tells Bilbo to hurry up and get ready. He then tells him to read the note that was above the fireplace. Bilbo did not read the note and found out that he was late.
- Bilbo and the dwarves rode their horses through tough conditions. They rode into the night and needed to find shelter.
- They saw light in the forest and Bilbo had to check it out. When he got there he found something big, ugly, and mean…..
- Bilbo found 3 TROLLS talking about…. Food?? Their names were Tom, Bert, and William. They were mean and ugly trolls.
- Bilbo gets calls the dwarves for help and they get captured. But then Gandalf shows up and helps them get free.
- Gandalf captures the trolls and let them die by the sun. And all the dwarves are set free.
