- Empress Wu Zetian or Empress Wu ruled in the Tang dynasty through 690-705 BC. She was the only women to ever rule an empire. Though her ways of life were cruel she was still greatly admired.
- Empress Wu would hold meetings with the city to talk about their successes and failures.
