- Grendel's mother arrives the next day and kills one of Hrothgar's elders. Beowulf follows her down into her swampy home and attempts to fight her, but his sword doesn't make a scratch on the horrible beast. He grabs a magical sword hanging on her wall and wields a deadly blow. Then, he spots Grendel's corpse and severs his head
- Falling Action 2
- This is what happens to those who threaten my kingdom and my people

- Later, a dragon appeared in Beowulf's kingdom which was a threat to Beowulf and his people. Beowulf fights the dragon because, as king, he feels that it is his responsibility to protect his people Beowulf knows that it will be difficult to defeat the beast, but he has the best armor and swords. while fighting, Beowulf manages to pull out a knife tucked in his belt and stabs the dragon.
- Last Words
- Later, a dragon appeared in Beowulf's kingdom which was a threat to Beowulf and his people. - The story ends much like it starts: with death and an elaborate burial. Beowulf is laid to rest with a mountain of treasure to mark his heroic life. Beowulf's death was caused by a poisonous wound from the dragon. His last wish was a barrow to be built with his name.

- Beowulf was a hero because he fended off Grendel and stopped him from killing any more of Hrothgar's men. This showed his great loyalty to Hrothgar and his people. In conclusion, Beowulf is my hero because of his outstanding fighting skills, his great strength, and finally his great loyalty.
