- Rising Action
- The story happened in an underground school in Venus, where it is always raining continuously for 7 straight years. Margot and the other kids are the main characters in the story. Margot is the girl furthest to the right.
- Climax
- The other children didn't like Margot because they see her as different. She also was very anti social because unlike the others, she is the only one who remembers what the Sun looks and feels like back in Earth where it doesn't rain constantly.
- Falling Action
- The children were excitedly talking about the Sun because the scientists said that it is then that they would see the Sun. They wrote poems, stories, and essays about it. But Margot remembers the Sun. Seven years ago, when they moved to Venus, the others were just two years old but Margot was 4 back then.
- Denouement/Resolution
- Just before the Sun was about to come out, the other children locked Margot in the closet. The rain stopped and the Sun came out. The children completely forgot about her as they were so excited to go outside and play.
- Margot was sobbing inside the closet as she was missing her only chance after seven years to see the sun. The other children were happily enjoying the feeling of the Sun upon their skin. Two hours have passed, the rain started to pour and thunder was roaring everywhere.
- When they got in due to the heavy rain, one of the children remembered that they had left Margot inside the closet. And when they opened the closet, there lied a wrecked, and sobbing Margot.
