Antigone and Ismene were in the living room discussing the fate of their brother. Their brother was in jail but he was wrongly accused. Antigone wanted to save him and get him out, but her sister was greatly against it.
Antigone went against her sister's wishes and did anything she could to get him out. She gets to the point where she has to break him out or else he would die while innocent.
They were able to escape, but the sheriff, Creon caught them and threatened to take them back even though he knew they were innocent. Creon's son who was engaged to Antigone and tried to convince his father not to, but Creon didn't care.
Creon takes them and arrests them. Everyone knew that they were innocent and were just trying to escape death, but the police didn't care. Creon's son was the most distraught and knew he was going to lose his fiance.
The two siblings are taken back to jail and rotten there for the rest of their lives. Creon's son became depressed and went against his father, particapating in protests to try and save the siblings. Society turned on Creon and the police for as they knew Antigone and he brother were innocent.
