- Sure, come on in. Let's go inside the house and sit by the fire place to talk.
- Shot one: Close-up
- Welcome to our home, my friend. What brings you here at this hour?
- I came to talk to you both about an important matter. May I come in?
- Of course. What would you like, my friend?
- What was it you wanted to talk about with us, my friend?
- Shot two: Close-up
- It's...kind of crazy, actually. But first, how about something to drink, if you don't mind my asking. I'd prefer whiskey, but if you don't have that with you, coffee's fine too. Thank you for my cup of coffee, by the way.
- No offence but...what exactly is that object you're holding?
- Intresting...I've never heard of such a thing before.
- Shot three: Medium/close-up
- It's a magical monkey's paw. It's used to grant any three wishes you or your wife make any time you are holding it or are in trouble.
- Quick question-did someone own it before you did?
- Now that I think about it, my friend, I am actually intrested in using it. I'll go ask my wife about it to see what she thinks of my decision.
- That was a lovely evening that I spent with you both, but I'd better get some rest. Thank you for everything, guys.
- Yes. I'm actually surprised you asked. This paw has a long history behind it. It recieved its magical powers from a very religious man and was given to three men generations before me. This was so each man could recieve three wishes each. The first man recieved his three wishes, and his final wish was for death. To make a long story short, that was how I recieved the paw. I already made my three wishes, so it's not useful to me anymore. If you're interested, I can give it to you.
