- Life is getting too hard, the only thing keeping me alive is getting high. I can feel something with it but I cannot take it anymore.
- She continues to get high to keep her mind off of the negative things

- The moral of the story is that the Marie is using weed as a escape from the world and its taking a toll on her mental health while she thinks its helping. She sits at school impatiently waiting to get out just to go home and cry and smoke away her pain. Eventually her mental health and physical health will get worse. She lives her life in constant pain using unhealthy coping mechanism thinking its going to help. The Title is "Get a Companion Not a Death Bed" because having a companion like a pet can actually help you. And smoking weed, doing drugs, drinking alcohol, even smoking just cigarettes will lead you to a death bed.
