  • Rural
  • It's just us here for next couple miles.
  • Gentrification
  • Sure has!
  • The city looks so much more lively ever since that company built a giant headquarters here.
  • Suburbs
  • Lots of people live here. Its pretty lively here.
  • Rural areas don't have many things there. Its generally a couple house for every square mile of land. Houses in these areas tend to be fairly big, since housing prices are so low due to the unconventional location. The population density is very low in rural areas.
  • Exurbs
  • People out here don't have excessive sums of money, but the people who live a couple blocks away are really rich!
  • Gentrification occurs when wealthy people and big companies move into smaller rural areas, urbanizing the area. Prices of housing in these small areas sky rocket due to the companies changing the surrounding area. People originally living there may consider selling their property and moving into a bigger house at a different location, sacrificing location for house size.
  • Zoning
  • This area is dedicated to commercial buildings, no one lives here.
  • A residential area very densely packed with homes. Houses tend to be fairly small in these areas, because of the convenient location and the need to fit many houses. Due to the outstanding location, small houses in suburban areas may be expensive.
  • Gated Community
  • It's really safe here. Lots of security.
  • Places right outside the urban area of cities. These areas are still civilized, but generally less wealthy people live in these areas. This separates the city by wealth and groups similar houses near eachother
  • Zoning is when a city is divided into residential areas and commercial areas. Zoning can protect recreational areas and dedicate an area to building residential housing. This also makes the city simple and easy to navigate for tourists visiting, giving them a dedicated area to explore.
  • Come eat at our restaurant!
  • Communities that are gated. These communities may have mediocre-sized homes but are highly priced, not for the location, but for the immense security. Surrounded with gates and a security check at the entry point, people can relax knowing their homes and belongings are safe protected by a myriad of security measures.
  • Sure is! really safe in here.
