Storyboard Text

  • I was wondering if you two could make a display for our schools drug awareness campaign! It would be hung in the hall.
  • Of course!
  • What should we make?
  • We could explain drug awareness in big block letters across the hall!
  • I don't know maybe, something more artistic?
  • We could maybe make a portrait of a student with their experience with drugs.
  • My way is better. People won't want to look at stupid drawings!
  • Well your way is boring. Who wants to read about drug awareness?
  • One day at school Mrs. Smith asked Izzy an Eduardo to make a drug free poster for their school. The pair are best friends and generally work well together. They immediately accepted and wanted to get to work.
  • Maybe we could use both of our ideas in the display?
  • Sounds great!
  • What if I draw the portraits, while you can write campaign slogans in block letters underneath them?
  • The two brainstormed ideas on what to put on the poster. However, they were having trouble on deciding what to do. Izzy wanted to have mainly writing on the poster, while Eduardo wanted the main focus to be more artistic.
  • I think our compromise worked out well.
  • DRUG FREE LOOKSLIKE ME!
  • Yeah, I think we did a good job working together.
  • After the day was over they still hadn't come to a decision. They both wanted opposite things. Izzy lashed out at Eduardo causing a big argument. They were using offensive words and weren't being productive.
  • Great job y'all. This is the best poster I have seen yet!
  • Thank you. It was a team effort
  • After a day the two came back and tried to talk again. They sat down and had an adult conversation. They agreed to combine both of their interests to make an amazing poster.
  • After they made a plan they could finally make their poster. They worked hard and respected each others ideas.
  • They showed their poster to the teacher who ended up loving it. The two were faced with a problem and compromised to find a satisfactory solution.
