  • It is a beautiful day outside, you picked a good day to go to the beach!
  • I know right! There's barely any wind and the temperature is great!
  • Newtons first law of motion states that , if a body is at rest or moving at a constant speed in a straight line,it will remain at rest or keep moving in a straight line at constant speed unless it is acted upon by a force
  • why isn't that beach ball moving?
  • There is a blast of wind
  • Woah! Look at that ball go! The amount of wind it takes to move the ball determines the acceleration of it.
  • Three days later...
  • Our teacher said that we have to research about Sir Issac Newotn, So that was Sir Issac Newton you were talking about at the beach?
  • Yes , Sir Isaac Newton, He was a physicist and mathematician who developed the principles of modern physics, including the laws of motion.
  • Why is this chair so hard to move?
  • LATER AT CLASS......
  • Because the greater the mass the harder it is to accelerate the chair, so you would need to push it with greater force.
  • That is actually Newtons 2nd Law, it states that the greater the mass (of the object being accelerated) the greater amount of force needed (to accelerate the object)
