Storyboard Text

  • today in science class we learned how to draw atoms.
  • yeah sure lets get home first so I can show you.
  • really that's so cool could you show me how to draw them?
  • this is how to draw it. first you make a circle in the middle to show the nucleus. Then you make a circle around it and add the electrons. On the first shell you can have up to 2 electrons, on the second shell you can have up to 8 electrons. Bigger atoms can have more electrons on the outside but we didn't learn about those.
  • oh wow thanks for teaching me.
  • this is a picture of an atom, pretend that there is not an extra outer shell.
  • sure. i mean you just listened to what i learned
  • do you want to hear about what i learned today?
  • my teacher said we were going to learn about that later in the year so can you explain it so i know what it is?
  • we learned about the pH scale.
  • ill show you a drawing so you can see what it looks like.
  • most acidic
  • On the pH scale there it numbers 0 to 14. Number 0 is the most acidic, number 14 is the most basic, and number 7 is neutral. i will show you what the pH scale looks like... That is what it looks like there is more numbers in between. when the pH number is closer to 7 the less acidic or basic it is.
  • most basic
  • this would be drain cleaner but i can't get a picture.
