- This is Maggie she is an African American women people see her as rather unattractive and she has scars from her house fire and is very shy and very sweet she is also Dee's sister

- The scene that reveals maggies character is when she trys to make peace with Dee by being sweet and offering her the quilts but her mom insists on maggie taking them.

- The theme of Maggie I think is to show kindness and love in yourself and to others and to be your self

- This is Dee she is an African American women she is Maggie's sister she is confident in herself and in her heritage.
- The scene I think that reveals Dee's character is when she finds out she does not get the quilts and she becomes very angry at her mom and sister and says they do not know her or there heritage and mama and Maggie watch Dee and her husband drive away
- The theme of Dee's character is to show determination and to be passionate about something you want and also i think she shows rebellious.
