- When I was still a child, one day as a family wewent to the house of my grandparents who live in the countryside since one ofmy uncles had died and they were going to bury him.
- Everything was fine until night came atbedtime. I was still saddened by my uncle's departure and I couldn't sleepbecause the memories didn't leave me alone
- at that moment I heard the dogs barkinginsistently outside in the street, my mind calmed down knowing that we were inthe field and it could have been some animal that crossed them.
- When I heard footsteps on the stone street I didnot doubt that a person was passing through the place, but when I heard thatthe dogs did not stop barking and without this person stopping, my fear wouldjust begin.
- The footsteps approached the entrance stairs and step by step they were heard louder and firmer. I didn't know if it was my mind that was playing tricks on me
