  • Reign of Terror
  • Women were unhappy about the price raises on bread. With knives, pitchforks, and axes they marched down Versailles. They broke into the king and queens palace and demanded for the price of bread to be lowered and that Louis and Marie Antoinette return to Paris to see the terror that is going on.
  • Execution of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette
  • The Rights of Man declaration gave citizens the right to freedom of religion and speech among many other things. The third estate formed a national assembly to make this.
  • Rise of Napoleon
  • The reign of terror happened when Robespierre was in rule. He thought it was better to create fear so the people wouldn't revolt. They killed 40,000 people with a guillotine in this time period.
  • Fall of Napoleon
  • Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were executed by a guillotine. They were taken by the san-culottes. Marie was convicted of treason and killed about 9 months after Louis VXI.
  • Napoleon started as an officer for the royalists. He then lead a French army against Austria and the kingdom of Sardinian. He had many victories and get moving up. He ended up being emperor
  • Napoleons empire collapsed after he made many mistakes in his leadership his greatest mistake being invading Russia. Napoleon was exiled to the island of Saint Helena.
