- Oh hello, my name is Lia, you must be the new worker, here i'll be showing you around, first off the factory behind me, "Manufacturing Facility" is where you will be working at.
- Every section goes by ages from 5-10, this is your section..Section:9 I'm in section 10. You will get payed 65 cents a week.It's not enough but, we gotta work with what we have..Anyways..Come with me..
- NO MORE LONG WORK HOURS, NO MORE SMALL PAYING WAGES.
- Trust me if we could leave we would. They don't treat us well here the only reason we are here is for our families so we were able to provide for them. Getting paid 65 cents a week? You should leave now and not come back. I mean how do you think i lost my leg?It was the machines we have one of the most dangerous working conditions i mean people who worked hear have lost,legs and arms, The people that own this place know it's dangerous but they still make us work here. I mean we don't have another choice as well.
- I know I'm not suppose to tell anyone new about this but, This isn't the Factory you think it is. Trust me everyone wants to leave. They don't treat anyone here well, they treat us like dogs. Like were worth nothing
- Yeah Like a Strike! And we Can tell Everyone about it maybe even the parents. to get in on it? so it could be more bigger, more recognizable.
- So we had an idea to stop this factory and the horrible living conditions We ere thinking about starting a protest! Y'know fighting for whats right?
- So Why did you guys call me in here for? Hmm okay, For now we spread the word and tomorrow will be the big day. Get ready.
- We began the peaceful protest, and everything was going very well people even joined us we had over 150 people with us! But..It didn't go as planned
- WE WANT OUR FREEDOM
- Although we Succeeded with the strike resulting to not working anymore and living better lives after, Many people died during the strike, Many people were injured as well.
