Odysseus and his crew find shelter. This is when Eurylochus talk them into giving into hunger.
Odysseus and his men avoid the warning they were given not the eat the cattle and choose the victim to murder.

Odysseus and his men cook and eat the victim they murdered.
"Then Zeus who drives the storm cloud made reply:‘Peace, Helios: shine on among the gods,shine over mortals in the fields of grain.Let me throw down one white-hot bolt, and make splinters of their ship in the winedark sea.’" (915)
Odysseus and his men are punished by Zeus for eating Helios's cattle. The are blown into a storm, and get taken to another island.
