Storyboard Text

  • "In the small hours of the third watch, when stars that shone out in the first dusk of evening had gone down to their setting, a giant wind blew from heaven, and clouds driven by Zeus shrouded land and sea in a night of storm". (830)
  • Odysseus and his men are pushed through a storm.
  • Odysseus and his men lost all their food and supplies after getting blown into a cave.
  • "touched the windy world, we dragged our ship to cover in a grotto, a sea cave" (835)
  • "Slipping away, I struck across the island to a sheltered spot, out of the driving gale." (857)
  • Odysseus and his crew find shelter. This is when Eurylochus talk them into giving into hunger.
  • Odysseus and his men avoid the warning they were given not the eat the cattle and choose the victim to murder.
