Storyboard Text

  • Hey Lucas!
  • Hey David!
  • How was your day?
  • and why is that?
  • I haven't been able to understand the respiratory system and we have an exam on it tomorrow!
  • I'll be completely honest with you. My day isn't going good.
  • I think I can help.
  • Just take a seat and let me explain
  • Really? How?
  • Whatever you say.
  • The nose and mouth is where the air enters the respiratory system and is warmed and humidified
  • The main parts of the respiratory system are the nose, mouth, pharynx, larynx, trachea, and lungs.
  • Both of these organs act like passageways for air and food to get transported. The larynx is also were your voice comes out from.
  • Air is then transported from your nasal passage to the pharynx and larynx
  • The air then is sent to your trachea. The trachea then carries that air in and out of your lungs.
  • The lung then takes that oxygen and passes it through our bloodstream, where it's carried off to the tissues and organs that allow us to walk, talk, move, and do basic every-day functions.
