- She's grieving too much over the death of Tybalt. So I haven't had the chance to talk to her about love. Romantic love doesn't happen when people are in mourning.
- I wish I didn't know the reason why the marriage should be slowed down. Look, sir, here comes the lady walking toward my cell.

- Lawrence asked Paris why to rush the wedding. Paris responded explaining that Juliet's marriage will make her happy and forget about her loss. Their marriage will make Juliet happy and finally be married.
- You are wise and you have so much experience. Give me awesome advice about the current situation. Or watch. Caught between these to difficulties, I'll act like a judge with my bloody knife
- Lawrence came to the realization that there might be no stopping this wedding. He feels shame in marrying Paris and Juliet after he married Juliet with Romeo.

- After Paris and Juliet meet they began to get into a disagreement on why Juliet shouldn’t cry. Paris tried to comfort Juliet and told her how her tears were soaring her face. He then proclaimed that her face belonged to him and she was “vandalizing” it.
- I’ll send Romeo word of our plan. He’ll come here, and we’ll keep watch for when you wake up. That night, Romeo will take you away to Mantua. This plan will free you the shameful situation that troubles you now
- Juliet is desperate for a plan to not marry Paris and escape from her parent's hands. She asks the friar for help knowing he’s wise. But if he can’t help her she is willing to kill herself to prevent marrying Paris.
- After seeing Juliet beg for a solution to not marry Paris, Lawrence comes up with an irrational plan. Lawrence tells Juliet that she should go home and ensure her parent's trust that she is coming around to marrying Paris. The following night she is to take the vial given from the friar and mix it with liquor to give off the impression that she is dead with her whole body shutting down.
- Lawrence explains to Juliet that as she “plays” dead he was gonna find Romeo and wait with him by her tomb until she wakes up. At that same moment, Romero will take her and run away to Mantua where not only will she be free and be with her love Romeo again but she will also free her from her current problem.
