Why did we have to come down so soon? I liked it up there!
Well, let me tell you!
To start off with, the water evaporates out of bodies of water (also called collection.) Water is also taken out of plants (also called transpiration). They are both extracted using the suns energy. This is then called water vapor. The water vapor then rises up.
Clouds are formed when warm air rises and expands, and then cool air that cant hold as much water vapor condenses and then attaches to little particles of dust. Then millions of those particles cling together therefore creating clouds.
After the clouds are formed, gravity pulls down on the water droplets, and the pressure builds up, then causing the rain to fall down.
Once the water hits the ground, the water falls into something called runoff. Runoff is basically something like a hill or mountain that water goes down to eventually reach collection.
The final step before the cycle starts over is collection. After the water comes off of runoff, the water collects back into the bodies of water and the cycle starts all over again.
